*NEW* Evaluation

We are now requiring all new dogs and owners to come in for an evaluation and facility tour. The evaluation is graded on how friendly/neutral your dog is with us. We must be able to safely handle all dogs in our care. Please call or email us to get this scheduled!

Required Vaccines

• Rabies
• Bordetella
• Distemper/Parvo Combo Vaccine
  • (may appear as: DAPP, DHPP, DHLPP, DA2PP, etc. on records)

All dogs must be up to date on required vaccines. If vaccines are due to expire while on planned stay, for your dog’s health, please update vaccines at least 14 days before check in day.

Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention

• All dogs must be up to date on parasite prevention including flea/tick/heartworm! This is especially important because Breezy Acres is in a wooded area, where ticks have been known to exist.
• We dislike flea/tick collars – they are a safety hazard in group play! Instead please look into topical or oral prevention.
• PLEASE make sure your dog is dewormed regularly – worms are gross and we don’t want them here!

Suite Size

• We have 8 – 4’x6′ suites, 1 – 6’x7′ suite, and 1 – 5’x5′ suite.
• We pick the suite size for your dog.
• We reserve this right to change suites, and to be fair to our clients, the pricing doesn’t change regardless of what suite they stay in.
• Multi-Dog Families: It is $40/night for the first dog, and $30/night for each additional dog from the same family, regardless if they are in the same kennel or not.

Age of Dog

• Dogs should be at least 4 months old by first day of stay, and have had all vaccines (at least 3 rounds of distemper/parvo). We love puppies, but they are more vulnerable due to weaker immune systems.
• We welcome senior dogs in reasonably good health.

Intact Dogs

• Intact mature dogs are allowed to board, but not allowed in group play
• Intact females in heat are not allowed

Check In & Out | Appointments

• We have limited office hours, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Why?
  • Because we want to play with your dog! It is unsafe to leave in the middle of a play group. We will never leave your dog unattended with different-family dogs.
  • Our facility is open almost every day, night, and weekend. We make a lot of sacrifices to provide you with the best dog boarding service you can buy! In return all we ask is you show up to your appointment time. This helps us plan out our day with the dogs, and balance family life.
  • If you are later than 15 minutes to your appointment time – you may need to reschedule, resulting in potential late fees/additional nights of boarding.

Miscellaneous

• Dog must be on a leash and under control coming to and from the facility – we have cats, horses, chickens, and of course, dogs on the property!
• Bring your dog’s food: either bagged per meal OR with your regular food scoop and instructions. Please only bring enough for your stay + a few extra days.
  • We can give oral meds, but no injections at this time.
• We provide Kuranda beds (elevated cots), polar fleece blankets, and food/water bowls. Many dogs find comfort in bedding, or a few toys from home. We are happy to have home items in your dogs kennel, but if becomes unsafe we will remove them. Bones make us nervous due to splintering and choking hazards.
• All charges must be paid in full on check out day!
